The goods

Woolmere Home Goods Inc. sells handcrafted, hand-tufted, and machine-woven area rugs, carpets, runners, doormats, and rug underlay pads composed of natural and synthetic fibers, including wool, cotton, jute, sisal, viscose, and polypropylene, intended for indoor and covered-outdoor residential and light commercial floor decoration within Canada. Each product page lists what's included, the size, and the weave. Photos show the actual rug style; slight packaging differences may occur.

Ordering and contract

Your order is placed once checkout completes. We confirm by email; the contract forms when we dispatch the rug. We may decline an order if stock runs out or details can't be verified, refunding any payment made.

Prices and payment

Prices show in CAD and include VAT where it applies. Delivery costs show at checkout before payment. We accept: Cash on delivery, Bank transfer. We may correct an obvious pricing error before dispatch and let you confirm or cancel.

Product images and colours

Every product photo shows the actual rug we ship. Screen colours shift with calibration, browser, and room lighting; small shade differences aren't a defect and don't qualify for a free return or compensation. Size, material, and weave are listed on each product page.

Transfer of risk

The rug remains our responsibility until the courier delivers it to you or to the person named at your given address. From that point, risk of loss or damage passes to you. Note any visible transport damage with the courier and report it to us within 48 hours.

Returns and warranty

You may return your rug within 30 days of delivery, as outlined on the Returns page. All rugs and rug pads sold by Woolmere are warranted against manufacturing defects in weaving, tufting, stitching, and colorfastness for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery, in accordance with the implied conditions of merchantable quality and fitness for purpose recognized under applicable Canadian provincial sale-of-goods legislation. This warranty does not cover damage arising from normal wear, improper cleaning, sun fading, moisture exposure, or use inconsistent with the care instructions provided with the product.

• Custom-cut rugs, bespoke runner lengths, and made-to-order rug or pad configurations produced to a customer's specified dimensions or color combination
• Clearance, overstock, or remnant rugs explicitly marked as final sale at the time of purchase due to limited, non-repeatable production runs
• Rugs or rug pads removed from their original protective wrapping and unrolled onto flooring, or that show signs of foot traffic, soiling, staining, odor, or pet or allergen exposure
• Rug pads that have been trimmed or adhered to fit a specific rug after delivery, rendering the pad and rug inseparable as a matched set
• Digital care-guide downloads, e-gift cards, or other digital content bundled with an order that has been accessed, redeemed, or unsealed by the consumer

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, Woolmere Home Goods Inc.'s aggregate liability arising from any order shall not exceed the lesser of $100 CAD or the total purchase price paid for the item giving rise to the claim, except where such limitation is prohibited by mandatory consumer-protection statutes. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Age and use

You must be at least 18 to order. Use rugs as described on the label; they're floor coverings, not medical or safety equipment.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the customer's province of residence. If we cannot settle a dispute by talking directly, it goes to the competent court at the seller's registered address, without affecting the consumer rights you hold in your own country.
